The girl who asked me for a hug
Sometimes I’m afraid of the unknown.
The Korean girl was out somewhere I don’t know, she didn’t tell me in the morning; Haley called me to go out for a coffee around 6pm and I almost said no because I was waiting for a person, but then “hey, she’s Haley, I should go, and call Nacho to tell him to meet in the coffee shop.”
So I got ready and went out, and oh surprise! Nacho was there with the other girl, the girl who, later that day, asked me for a hug.
I was almost running late so, was perfect that Nacho was there so he could drive us to the meeting place. I help this girl to bring her backpacks to the house, and then we were on the way to the “El Postrecito” place.
Nacho couldn’t stay there, so Alevtyna and I were the only ones at the place, we sat outside and ordered some drinks. Haley was late already, and we were talking in this new cake look-alike place.
We talked.
Haley arrived about 40 minutes late. We talked for about one hour more. About what? don’t know, don’t ask me, don’t remember… about something.
It was Monday afternoon, so the idea of going to the center to watch the folklore at the city hall came to my mind; so Alevtyna with her “yeah why not” and Haley with her “I still have some work to do”, and I took the bus to the center.
Interestingly enough, at the Cathedral was another celebration, and it started at the same time. Well, the folklore, the music, the talk, the fireworks and Mariachi at the Cathedral… all nice, all interesting, as usual but I don’t feel like writing about that now. Is just, all started with a: “… I’ll be waiting for you…”
That night back at home, Alevtyna was ready to sleep while I was at the computer, then we starting talking some and she ended with a “give me a hug”. And I hugged her. And I fell off my chair. And we laughed.
